Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander) will have a lot on her plate after discovering some of the details about her true identity in the new episode of "Blindspot."
In the last episode, Patterson (Ashley Johnson) previously did a DNA test which confirmed that Jane was Taylor, who was a childhood friend of Agent Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton). Taylor went missing when she was a little girl and abducted from her home. The authorities suspected her father, who is now suffering from lung cancer, for the crime. However, Weller made another DNA test which confirmed that Jane is not Taylor after all and that she was born in Africa.
In the new episode, Jane will have a tough time accepting the information about her identity that she freaks out in the middle of the dinner with Weller's family. According to International Business Times, the promo video shows Jane walking out of the apartment, and Weller runs after her to comfort her.
Design & Trend also reported that Jane's nemesis, Thomas Carter (Michael Gaston), will try to take her down. In the new episode, the CIA and the FBI will go head to head in looking for information about a person who staged a recent hostage situation. During the investigation, Weller will find out that the CIA does not only want to be ahead of the case, but they also want to get Jane killed.
In the previous episodes, Thomas was trying to tell Bethany Mayfair (Marianne Jean-Baptiste) that Jane should be eliminated because the tattoos on her body could contain dangerous information. However, Bethany does not want to believe this, and Thomas decides to take matters in his own hands. In the teaser video released by NBC, Thomas is seen aiming a sniper rifle at Jane, but it was reported that someone will surprisingly come to her rescue.
"Blindspot" airs every Monday on NBC.
