LiLo for President?
While many might think that Lindsay Lohan might be starring in a new movie where her role involves being the president of a powerful country, this is no upcoming movie. The "Mean Girls" actress reveals a shocker when she announced that she has plans in running for presidency in 2020!
Just like the "FourFiveSeconds" rapper Kanye West announced in the recent VMA awards his hopes for presidency in 2020, Lohan also announced her aims for the political position via Instagram last Oct. 16. In the said post of the 29-year-old actress, she shared a photo of her attending the 2012 White House Correspondents Dinner as a guest of Greta Van Susteren according to US Magazine.
The caption of the post of Lohan said, "In #2020 I may run for president. Through ups and downs #YESWECAN lets do this @kanyewest #truespirits thank you for inspiring us to be better people @barackobama #kanyewest2020 #lindsaylohanat35 #lindsaylohan2020 with #34yearsofEXPERIENCE #unitingWORLDnations."
Although the 29-year-old actress has not clearly said if she is serious about her post for presidency, US Magazine also said that the "Parent Trap" actress yet post again another message with a caption, "The first thing I would like to do as president of [the United States] is take care of all the children suffering in the world. #queenELIZABETH showed me how by having me in her country."
LiLo's aims to help other people are pretty amazing. Besides West and Lohan, who may be the other celebrities aiming a spot in the politics?
Celebrities aiming for political aspirations are not really new, there are many celebrities in the past that paved their way in the politics just like Jesse Ventura, Melissa Gilbert, Sonny Bono, and Arnold Schwarzenegger. It would a great news to hear others are also aspiring to take part of becoming leaders of the nation but the big question is, do they have what it takes to lead the country?
