On Tuesday, game developer 343 Industries and Microsoft have announced official details about "Halo 5: Guardians" multiplayer clan system. It was said that the game will feature a clan system via Spartan Companies."Each Spartan company will have its own unique name, emblem, colors and banners," Gamespot reports.
According to Attack of the Fan Boy, "Halo 5: Guardian's" Spartan Companies will function as a clan system. It was said that players can participate in the clan system by either creating or joining a Spartan Company. Players who have been included in the Spartan Company will be given specific tools that will manage the group's activities.
"These Spartan Companies can hold up to 100 players and you can only be a member of a single group. The feature gives each Spartan Company a member forum, where groups can be organized for what type of game mode they want to participate in, the ability to set up match, scrimmages, practices, and Warzone sessions," the report said.
The game's Spartan Company page "will also display the Service Record for each member of the crew, including detailed statistics like kill death ratio, or stats for specific game types like number of flags captured in Capture the Flag." Hence, players can actually view their own "loadouts and cosmetic style of each Spartan in the group, or manage your own character's appearance and loadout," the publication wrote.
Gamespot reports that 343 Industries will be giving incentives to players who will join the Spartan Company. The game developer will give a free Req pack for those who joined and created a clan system. However, it was stressed that in order to receive the game's freebie, the player's Spartan Company should be active and "attract a total of at least four players."
"The video goes on to show how you can open Req packs and customize your character from Halo Waypoint. This feature, along with Spartan Companies, is now live on the Waypoint website ahead of Halo 5's launch on October 27," the report said.
