"Grey's Anatomy" Season 4 will air another episode on Thursday night, and it will focus on Meredith's (Ellen Pompeo) reaction to seeing Callie's (Sara Ramirez) new girlfriend, Penny (Samantha Sloyan).
Other than the emotional encounter between Meredith and the woman who pronounced her husband dead, there are also some rumors that "Grey's Anatomy" Season 12 will feature at least 10 guest stars.
According to TV Line, one of the guest stars that will star on the hit ABC series is Josh Duhamel. Other guest stars include Ioan Gruffudd, Patrick Wilson, David Walton, Josh Duhamel, Kris Polaha, Matthew Goode, Eric Mabius, Jay Hernandez and Omar Epps.
However, according to Entertainment Weekly, there's no truth to rumors that Duhamel will be appearing in the upcoming episodes of "Grey's Anatomy." As of late, it is still unclear whether or not the other nine male actors will really be part of the hit ABC series.
Meanwhile, the upcoming episode titled "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" will also focus on Arizona's (Jessica Capshaw) reaction to seeing Callie's girlfriend for the first time. After ending their marriage in the previous episodes, Arizona and Callie struggled with being comfortable with each other.
In a recent interview, series creator Shonda Rhimes said that this will all be in the past because the estranged couple will become civil in Season 12. Rhimes added that Callie is not the only one who will get into a new relationship in Season 12 because Arizona's love interest will also be introduced later on in the season.
"She's exploring new love and it's a hot dating situation and there's some unexpected twists and turns as always. They do it brilliantly and it's in a way that affects a lot of people," Rhimes said of Callie's journey on the show.
"Grey's Anatomy" Season 12 airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
