Sergeant Henry 'Hank' Voight (Jason Beghe) will be going down memory lane as he hunts down a criminal from his past in the new episode of "Chicago PD" Season 3.

According to Master Herald, the criminal named James Beckett was released from prison due to a technicality.

It was also reported that after the criminal attacks, Detective Alvin Olinsky (Elias Koteas), Voight will discover that Beckett was the one he put in jail 15 years ago because of triple homicide. Now the rest of the police department is hunting down the felon because he has been targeting cops as a form of revenge.

According to Ecumenical News, Voight will become emotional in this episode as the people in the team are having a hard time tracking the criminal down. In the teaser video, he can be seen pressuring his team and saying, "The sooner he is in a box or a bag, the better. Am I clear?"

Meanwhile, executive producer Matt Olmstead gave details about the three-way crossover between "Chicago P.D.," "Chicago Fire," and "Chicago Med." According to the site, the episode is scheduled to air on January. The EP revealed that the episode will focus on Voight's past and this will also feature the story about his dead wife.

It was reported that Voight's wife died before his first appearance on "Chicago Fire." However, it was also reported that he has still not moved on from her death and he remains deeply affected by the events which surround it. The death of Voight's wife also reportedly affected Lindsay (Sophia Bush) as she has looked up to her as a mother figure, given that her own mom is unreliable.

"Chicago PD" Season 3 episode 4, titled "Debts of the Past," will air on Wednesday on NBC.
