On Wednesday, American retailer Best Buy announced that it will sell a "Fallout 4" Gold Edition bundle for only $85. The bundle will be sold exclusively for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, which includes the popular game and a DLC pass.

It was also said that the special console bundle comes with a pair of socks patterned after a photo of Vault Boy. It was stressed that the pair of socks is very timely since the yuletide season is at hand, a report from Gamespot said.

"Fallout 4 costs $60 and the DLC pass goes for $30, meaning the Gold Edition was already going to save you $5. The socks are a nice perk, especially as winter and its cold weather creeps in. The Fallout 4 release date is set for November 10 across Xbox One, PS4, and PC," the report said.

Listed below are the package features, as posted on Best Buy's official website.

  • "In Fallout 4 you are the sole survivor of Vault 111, entering a world destroyed by nuclear war. Only you can rebuild and determine the fate of the wasteland.
  • The Fallout 4 Season Pass grants you access to all downloadable content updates for the game.
  • Socks are patterned with the image of Vault Boy, the mascot for Fallout 4's fictional Vault-Tec corporation.
  • This package price will no longer be valid if you return one of the items."

According to Pixel Dynamo, the "Fallout 4" Gold Edition bundle offers great value to both avid fans and players as the game alone will cost a buyer around $60 and another $30 for the DLC.

"The hype for the next instalment in the Fallout series has seen all manner of merchandise be created. From the Pip-Boy Edition of the game, to several exclusive items available via Bethesda's Great War Sale Event this week, there's plenty of Fallout goodies out there for everyone," the report said.
