"The Walking Dead" Sunday night episode of indirectly confirmed a long-time fan theory about Carl's (Chandler Riggs) teenage love interest, Enid (Katelyn Nacon) as a spy for the Wolves, Forbes reported.
In an attack of the Wolves, countless Alexandrians were killed during the episode which can be considered as one of the most violent scenes of "The Walking Dead," wherein Carol, Morgan and Aaron came to help save the town.
The question of who led the Wolves to Alexandria is something viewers had been wondering about. Many are speculating that it is because of Enid and that she led them to the town.
In a conversation with Carl, Enid seemingly left a clue that she is one of the Wolves while talking about how difficult it is to defend Alexandria.
Apart from that, since Enid's appearance in the show, her personality has been a mystery especially when she is seen sneaking outside the walls and walking around the woods. Reports said that she might be sneaking to provide information to the Wolves telling them that Rick and his companions were out and it is the perfect time to attack, Headlines and Global News noted. If they were not informed, then their attack was merely a coincidence.
When she wrote the letters "JSS" on a car window after killing a walker, fans were intrigued of what it stands for. Turns out, "JSS" means "Just Survive Somehow," which may explain why Enid is working with the villainous Wolves. She might need to join them in order to survive.
At the end of episode 2, Aaron (Ross Marquand) discovered that someone has been sending photos of Alexandria to the Wolves while Enid left a letter for Carl as she decided to leave the town after their conversation where she said, "They’re just people. This place is too big too protect. You have too many blindspots," MTV News reported.
But since Enid has established a relationship with Carl and Alexandria, she didn't join the Wolves in the attack. Yet, different clues lead to the possibility that she is indeed involved with the villains of the show.
“The Walking Dead” airs every Sundays at 9 p.m. on AMC.
