"Days of Our Lives" has some big changes for its fans as James Read leave the show while new characters will be welcomed soon.

Read played the role of Clyde for nearly two years, and had definitely added drama and thrill to Salem. While many "Day of Our Lives" fans don't like Clyde, it is just because he did his acting really well as a villain.

But on his final episode on DOOL, he showed that even villains will do anything for their children. Clyde's anguish touched the hearts of many while he was listening to Ben's story. To recall, Ben is responsible for the death of EJ and other troubles in the town. Spoilers reveal that Ben will kill Clyde while they are on a heated conversation, Youth Health Mag reported.

Because of Clyde's amazing acting, people will never like Clyde but Read also played other roles that aren't as mean as Clyde. In the legendary 1980s mini-series, "North and South," Read played the role of George Hazard, a very kind character. With that, we can see how versatile Read is as an actor.

While Read just left the show, new casts will be joining the show for new recurring roles for their November taping, Soap Shows reported.

Viewers will get to meet Mark, a jock on his late teens who has a rebellious attitude towards his father who is a judge in Salem. Judge Avery would be a 50-55 years old man who will be the father of Mark.

Aside from that, there is also a 19-year-old girl who will be part of a developing scene involving some teens. She will come to the show with her father named Hal, who is about 30 to 40 years old.

A new character who is an African-American, Hispanic, or Asian woman on her late 30s will also join the cast for the role named Simone. Meanwhile, a man on his 40s or 50s will also be part of DOOL for the role of an African American or Asian psychiatrist, Dr. Robinson.

"Days of Our Lives" airs weekdays on NBC.
