"The Vampire Diaries" star Kat Graham recently opened up about her character Bonnie from the hit The CW series.

During an interview with TV Line, Graham hinted the possibility of Bonnie and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) staying in the friend zone. According to the actress, Bonnie and Damon's friendship will become stronger in the upcoming episodes. She added that the onscreen characters have a "very fun and playful relationship."

In the past, fans speculated on the possibility of Damon moving on from Elena (Nina Dobrev) with Bonnie. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Graham previously said that she's not sure whether or not Bonnie and Damon would end up together or not.

"We'll see what happens. I would I could say it's definitely happening, or it's definitely not happening, but I just want them to appreciate whenever Ian and I do scenes together, and then we'll just kind of see what the writers do," she said.

Meanwhile, even though Bonnie and Damon may not end up together, "The Vampire Diaries" fans all know that Bonnie will have a new love interest later on in the season. With this, they can't help but speculate on the possibility of Enzo (Michael Malarkey) and Bonnie dating each other.

In a previous interview, Malarkey said that fans will be shocked when they find out who Enzo's partner would be. Graham said a similar statement during a previous interview.

The upcoming episode of "The Vampire Diaries" Season 7 will continue to focus on the phoenix stone that Alaric discovered in "Never Let Me Go." At that time, Alaric asked Bonnie if she could help him with it, but she refused. Later on in the episode, Alaric temporarily brought a dead man back to life using the said stone.

"The Vampire Diaries" Season 7 airs Thursday nights at 8 p.m. on The CW.
