After the hostage taking crisis that happened in episode 5 of "NCIS" season 13, the team will be handling a new case of a possible local serial killer in episode 6.

In the episode 5 recap done by Entertainment Weekly, Abby (Pauley Perrette) went on a pharmaceutical company in order to investigate a suspicious compound. While she was there a group of robbers were paid to steal some important data from the company in order to prove that the company's plan to sell some generic drugs which do not work.

The plan was originally planned by one of the doctors in the company named, Dr. Janice Brown who is played by guest star Lucy Davis. However, the robbers had other plans in mind. It turns out they are planning to murder anyone who knew about them and this could possibly include Brown.

Suddenly the alarm goes off and Brown tries to explain to Abby that it is part of the protocol. It doesn't take long for Abby to realize that the alarm was false and she also discovered that the phones and lines were not working. When she heard the gunshots from outside of her location she tries to sneak to the server room to call for help. In the process, Abby and Janice helped each other to do some tricks in order to send a message to the outside world and they succeeded when they were discovered by the NCIS team.

In the new episode of "NCIS" season 13, the team will be working on a possible return of a local serial killer. The team is now investigating if this is the case of a known serial killer or a work of a copycat. In the official synopsis posted in Cartermatt it was also revealed that  McGee (Sean Murray) and Delilah (Margo Harshman) will be considering some things before they get to the next level of their relationship.
