Nintendo NX is said to be approaching production process. Rumors suggest that the new Nintendo rig will not go down without a fight with the current next-gen console of Sony and Microsoft.
Nintendo Forums administrator named crunchyg broke the news about the Nintendo NX next-gen console. The post said that Nintendo has provided major game publishing firms in the U.S. information so they could develop games for the console. According to a senior level personnel of a big game publishing firm, the processing capability of the Nintendo console is more powerful than Sony's and Microsoft's consoles, Express reported.
"Nintendo NX is going to have a very impressive hardware. Based on the development kit, the sheer processing capabilities of the hardware (which still hasn't been finalized) are going to be "incredibly powerful" and quite possibly faster than whatever Sony and Microsoft have in store," the post added.
Nintendo NX rumors surrounding the stats also say that it may be released in the market during the Holiday season of 2016. Reportedly, Nintendo is pursuing a powerful processor for their console, WiiU Daily reported. In connection to this, there was a previous rumor about Nintendo and AMD's partnership and this has something to do with the NX.
According to that rumor, AMD might provide an x86-based processor for the new Nintendo NX and that it could arrive by 2016. As stated by AMD CFO Devinder Kumar, "I will say that one is x86 and the other is ARM, and at least one will be beyond gaming, right ... They [the customers] are going to announce it and then ... you will find out that it is AMD's APU that is being used in those products."
Nintendo is saying nothing about their next-gen console. No pricing can also be set now since it is still under development.
