Ellie Goulding, the singer of the hit soundtrack for "50 Shades of Grey," shocked fans and photographers at the 2015 MTV Europe Music Awards when she arrived sporting new electric yellow hair.
The "Love Me Like You Do" singer was among the sea of celebrities and singers who attended the popular awards show in Milan. She wore a revealing floor-length black dress but her new colored locks was definitely the highlight. She let her shoulder-length hair loose and complemented it with a subtle, barely-there make-up.
The 28-year-old songstress also showed off her curves with her dress, which has plunging neckline and thigh-high slit. The pop singer indeed looked every inch a red carpet revelation.
During the show the 2015 EMA double nominee changed the style of her hair to an updo as she sang her 2015 megahit song, "Love Me Like You Do." Goulding was nominated for the best song category along with Mark Ronson, Wiz Khalifa, and Taylor Swift, according to Mirror UK. She was also up for the Best Female Singer category along with the "Bad Blood" singer.
However, the two-time Brit awards winner did not bag any awards at the 2015 MTV EMAs. Country singer Swift won the Best Song Category. She also won Best US Act while Rihanna took the award for the Best Female category.
Other big winners include Justin Bieber with five wins, namely the Best Male, Best Canadian Act, Best Collaboration (with Skrillex and Diplo) for "Where Are You Now," and Best Look. The night's host Ed Sheeran also bagged a couple of wins including Best Live Act.
The best video award went to Macklemore and Ryan Lewis for "Downtown." Best New Act was awarded to "Stitches" Canadian singer Shawn Mendes; Best Pop to UK boyband One Direction; Best Rock to Coldplay; Best HipHop to "Feeling Myself" singer Nicki Minaj; and Best Alternative to Lana del Rey.
