Kim Kardashian of the popular "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" reality show hosted her second child's camp-inspired baby shower with her sisters and closest friends.
On Oct. 25, Sunday, Kim pushed through with the shower for her second baby at the Azoff mansion in Beverly Hills, which is owned by Kanye West's former manager's wife, according to E! News. The original date was previously cancelled due to Lamar Odom's unexpected incident. However, a source said a friend of the Kardashians convinced the pregnant reality star to finally celebrate the affair since the former NBA star has already woken up and is recuperating.
During the shower Kris Jenner gave a small speech and reminisced back to when Kim's first child, North, was born. Close friends of the family had been treated to a brunch with eggs benedict, waffles, omelettes, and pancakes. The Kardashians also had given away Girl Scout cookies, consistent with the shower motif.
Kim's sister Kourtney Kardashian and half-sis Kylie Jenner uploaded photos of the camp-themed baby shower on Instagram. As the snaps revealed, the occasion was a strictly pajama-only event. All the sisters wore matching striped pajamas and in one photo, Kourtney and Kendall Jenner are seen sipping hot cocoa under a teepee.
A few of the pictures posted by the siblings show Khloe Kardashian, sporting a new haircut. According to Mirror UK, it was the first time Khloe was seen in a celebration since Odom was found unresponsive in a Nevada brothel. The Dash co-owner has constantly been beside her husband since he was hospitalized.
Although the ex-NBA player is now responsive, Khloe is said to be still worried about his condition as he continues to be monitored in the intensive care unit. Odom suffered from a few strokes after the brothel incident and is now suffering from kidney failure.
This is the eldest Kardashian's second baby with rapper superstar husband, Kanye West. The couple is set to welcome their new child in December. Their first baby, North West, is now two years old.
