New "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" spoilers and details have surfaced online after star Henry Cavill spilled the beans.
This time, it's not a DC fan or a member of the film's crew who dished out the latest news on the upcoming sequel of "Man of Steel." It came straight from Superman himself, Cavill. According to Caped Crusades, the former "Tudors" actor mentioned how the film will start, a prologue concerning Bruce Wayne.
The 32-year-old British actor shared that "Batman v Superman" starts as Wayne as Batman tries to save people from one of his buildings that got destroyed. While he is on the rescue, he could not help but feel angry towards Superman, an alien who Wayne thinks should not be trusted.
However, it seems that Cavill is not the only star of the film who is talking. Ben Affleck, who plays the role of Batman, mentioned in an interview why the Caped Crusader would be up in arms against the Man of Steel. The Academy Award winning actor agreed that the destruction caused by the battle between Superman and Zod had Bruce Wayne feeling a lot of rage.
"So it's how he got there, and what that's done to him, and what that's done to people around him like Alfred, who are, I think, very scared and worried for him. It's something that's interesting and new," Affleck said.
Meanwhile, "Batman v Superman" director Zack Snyder hinted that he will do a brief cameo in the film but said his appearance will not be influential to the plot, reports Cinemablend.
"You won't see my face. I pick some things up, but that's it," Snyder said. The director follows in the footsteps of many filmmakers doing cameos in their movies.
Many have speculated that "Batman v Superman" is the platform to introducing the Justice League. The speculations are even more resounding now that other Justice League heroes would make an appearance in the movie. Gal Gadot plays Wonderwoman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, and Ezra Miller as The Flash.
"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will hit theaters on March 25, 2016.
