Fans of Lifetime reality series, "Dance Moms" are nervous over Maddie Ziegler's future in the show. Christian Today reported that the 13-year-old rising star has skipped the show for two episodes because she is currently filming her upcoming movie "The Book of Henry" with "Jurassic World" director Colin Trevorrow.
The outlet noted that fans are beginning to worry that Ziegler's absence from "Dance Moms" may ultimately lead to her getting booted out of the franchise. Add to this the fact that Ziegler has previously made statements, which seemingly hint that she is looking forward to stepping out of her comfort zone and taking on other projects.
While the outlet noted on the possibility that Ziegler may join the rest of the "Dance Moms" Season 6 cast in episode 3, recently released spoilers from International Business Times revealed that Ziegler is still a no-show. The ALDC (Abby Lee Dance Company) competed at the Devotion 2 Dance in California last Saturday, Oct. 24.
ALDC coach Abby Lee Miller shared her excitement over her students' performance during the said competition via Instagram. The outlet further revealed that even though Ziegler was not performing with the rest of the kids, the ALDC still managed to score a first place in their group's hip-hop dance.
Kendall Vertes reportedly went home in first place during the competition with her performance of "All Eyes on Me." Now that Miller's favorite dancer, Maddie Ziegler is busy with different projects, will her absence from "Dance Moms" pave the way for other kids to shine?
