Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato made a lot of Disney fans excited after the duo announced they will embark on a new tour together.

Jonas announced on Oct. 26, Monday that he and Lovato will be having a series of concerts dubbed "Future Now: The Tour" in 2016, adding that they would work hard "to make the best tour possible," reported E! Online. The "Scream Queens" actor also dished a few details about the upcoming tour and jokingly stated he would be having two more outfit changes than the former "X Factor" judge.

The "Let It Go" singer broke the news to her fans on social media, adding a picture of her and the "Jealous" hitmaker, whom she called her "best friend.

Many fans are already speculating about the success of the tour for both the 23-year-old pop stars, who are thriving in their individual singing careers. Lovato's recent "Confident" album has been received well by fans while Jonas' self-titled album in 2014 is doing well in the market, too. The two first worked together in Disney's "Camp Rock" seven years ago.

The "Levels" singer and Lovato have been close friends since 2008, which is why when it comes to Jonas' relationships, Lovato is usually not spared from questions. While the "Unbroken" singer has never spilled the beans about her friend's romances, she was frequently heard saying that Jonas' happiness was her top priority.

Lovato is currently dating "That 70's Show" actor Wilmer Valderama. Jonas recently broke it off with former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo and is being linked to actress Kate Hudson. However, many fans are hopeful that the "Chains" singer would get back together with Justin Bieber's ex Selena Gomez.

The "Future Now: The Tour" is set to kick off in June 2016 so Disney fans as well as the pop stars' supporters will have to wait for a few more months before seeing the duo perform live together.
