With Halloween fast approaching, many families are getting ready for the holiday. As well as movie producers and film makers are trying to get the most out of the upcoming festivities.

According to usatoday.com, a new movie of Sandra Bullock together with Billy Thornton is set to be released on the holiday which conveniently lands on a weekend and gives chance for moviegoers to enjoy the big screen.

Bullock's new film "Our Brand is Crisis" offers a peek on how politicians and its supporters push their campaigns during elections. Sandra plays the character of Jane Bodine who retired from being a fixer after losing on the last election. However, she was pushed to go out of her retirement when she learned that her "nemesis" Pat Candy [Thornton] is working for a leading Bolivian presidential candidate.

"Our Brand is Crisis" is a satire film that shows the dirty tactics politicians do to win the people's votes which include "leaking false information about opposing candidates, using family struggles for personal gain, fanning the flames of fear over optimism for votes."

The movie was based on a documentary shown last 2005 that studied the American campaign and its effects to Bolivian people. Though the film is also happening in Bolivia, Sandra Bullocks says "it's more of a metaphor (for) where we've gotten in business and selling and it's a story could take place anywhere. We've become sheep to advertising."

According to variety.com, "Our Brand is Crisis" is expecting a $6 million profit from its release day in 2,400 theaters across the country. If the figures predicted will happen, this will be known as the "weakest wide release opening" of Sandra Bullock since Ernest Hemingway's drama "In Love and War" in 1996. Sandra Bullock and Bob Thornton's "Our Brand is Crisis" took $28 million to produce. The film also has a lot of partners which includes the Participant Media.
