After a wonderful and captivating episode 4 of "The Good Wife" Season 7, fans will be treated with another intense story in episode 5.
In the previous episode, titled "Taxed," Louis Canning (Michael J. Fox) was the defense attorney for the doctors who gave a brain cancer patient drugs intended for suicide. The patient's name was Alexa (Celeste Arias), and she chose to move to Oregon where physician-assisted suicide was legal. When Alexa's parents learned about this, they sued the doctors by not giving her the proper information about a case study on a cancer drug which could have prolonged her life.
In the new episode of "The Good Wife" Season 7, the promo video revealed that there will be a very special activity in the office which could facilitate better relationships between the co-workers. However, according to Christian Today, things won't go as planned. Lucca (Cush Jumbo) and Alicia (Julianna Margulies) will get confused as to why they were asked about their most embarrassing experience.
It was also reported that one of the issues the next episode is the so-called ageism within the law firm, as Howard Lyman accused the group of stereotyping.
Meanwhile, according to the official synopsis reported by Cartermatt, Eli (Alan Cumming) will be rekindling some drama with the Florrick family in the middle of Peter's (Chris Noth) presidential campaign. In the promo, Alicia tells Eli that she no longer trusts him, and this could mean that he is planning on something that's not necessarily good.
In other news, the next episode will also feature how Jason (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) will finish his student loan case with Alicia and Lucca. It was reported that he will be using his aggressive investigative techniques to win the case.
"The Good Wife" Season 7 episode 5, titled "Payback," will air on Nov. 1.
