"The 100" season 3 is currently in production, and executive producer Jason Rothenberg has been posting more teasers in his social media account as to what fans can expect in the new season of the hit series.

KPop Starz reports that Rothenberg has re-tweeted a photo showing the Grounders' new costumes for "The 100" season 3. According to the site, the new costumes are made out of leather, metal and fur. Rothenberg revealed in his Twitter account that the costumes were not for a male commander's uniform. He added that the color orange in the new costume has some significance.

The costume is adorned by an orange sash, and it was confirmed that it will be worn by a female leader. It was earlier reported that the new season of the show will prominently feature the Grounders, and fans can have a closer look on their culture.

Earlier, another photo posted by the producer shows Clarke (Eliza Taylor) in a Grounder costume, and this raised speculations that she will finally be joining the tribe. Ecumenical News reports that with Clarke gone, Bellamy Blake (played by Bob Morley) will be emerging as the true leader in the new season.

In other news, it was earlier reported that there will be new characters joining the show in its third season. The site reports that "Black Sails" actor Zach McGowan will be joining the series as Roan. The character was described as someone who will stop at nothing just to get what he wants. McGowan is also known for his role in "Shameless," and he also played a supporting role alongside Luke Evans in the movie "Dracula Untold."

Aside from McGowan, "Sons of Anarchy" actor Michael Beach will also be joining the show as Pike. Based on the character description, he is a tough and charismatic member of the Ark.

It was reported that "The 100" season 3 will air sometime in the early part of 2016.
