Game developer Rockstar on Friday announced that it will roll out a spooky Halloween DLC for "GTA Online." The special Halloween DLC features brand new masks, face paint, new vehicles and a brand new mode themed after slasher movies. The free downloadable contents are expected to arrive on PS4, Xbox One and PC, a report from iDigital Times said.

Listed below are the items contained in the game's Halloween Surprise DLC, according to the report.

  • Lurcher hearse-style car
  • Franken Strange hot-rod car
  • Flashlight weapon
  • Various shirts
  • Various horror masks
  • New Slasher adversary mode

"The most impressive part of the update is most definitely the new Slasher Adversary mode for GTA Online. This mode effectively turns GTA Online into a horror-survival experience where seven players attempt to survive for three minutes against another player who wields a mask and a shotgun. The objective of the adversary is to take out the seven victims before time runs out," Cinemablend said, describing the game's free DLC.

Meanwhile, International Business Times reports that several Halloween-inspired shirts will debut for "GTA 5" and "GTA Online."  Below are the list of T-shirts. as reported by the site.

  • "Zombie Liberals - a regular CD-graphic printed T-shirt with Halloween themed art-work.
  • Twilight Knife - you can see a puddle of blood splattered all over the place on a white-T-shirt.
  • Splatter and Shot - it depicts a Zombie's head with a bullet shot on the forehead and blood splattered all over the head.
  • Vinewood Zombie - it is tailored to represent the Easter egg in GTA 5 with a Zombie hand symbol.
  • Psycho Swingers - you can see a lady's hand dropping something (looks like a key) on the skull of a human.
  • Butchery - it depicts a machete with blood splattered all around the T-shirt.
  • Knife After Dark - it's another Halloween-themed T-shirt showing a man with a knife on the Halloween's night.
  • Vampires on the Beach - it depicts a typical beach-party themed art-work for the Halloween's night.
  • The Simian - you can see a black and white monkey face with fusion graphics art-work on the front and back.
  • Hot Serial Killer Stepmom - this T-shirt shows an art-work themed after a serial killer.
  • Meathook for Mommy - another graphics printed T-shirt with the Halloween themed art-work on it.
  • Cannibal Clown - it represents one of the goriest depictions of Halloween themes with a red-pumpkin face art-work on it."

"With Rockstar starting to focus their GTA V updates solely around the Xbox One, PS4 and PC, it'll definitely be exciting to see what other creative modes they come up with situated within the engine. There are a ton of possibilities and it seems like GTA Online right now is still only barely scratching the surface," Cinemablend said.
