Last year, "The Fappening" shook the world as it leaked nude photos of numerous celebrities. Back in 2014, the outraged occurred after celebrities' smartphones were hacked though Apple's iCloud and were then released online.

Though this shook the internet world, authorities however was not able to track the culprits responsible. Celebrities such as Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton, and Ariana Grande were part of "The Fappening" victims.

One of the least popular actresses that was included however was Melissa Benoist. The public may have known her from "Glee" last year, but she is now a well-known feminine superhero, "Supergirl."

As per Hollywood Life, Benoist however openly responded to the nude photos that were released from "The Fappening" through her Twitter account.

As per Inquisitr, during one of her interviews, Melissa Benoist publicly announced that she wants to be someone other women can look up to.

"I want to do right by women, I want to portray someone they can relate to and look up to that's not a trite or a shallow depiction. I want her to be complicated and flawed. I guess I just want all women to feel like they could be Kara and Superwoman as well."

Fans are impressed to see her as a role model and they took it on Twitter. Numerous followers are quite impressed with the show, and some even pertains to it as a "feminist" show.
