"The Divergent Series: Allegiant" is the third installment to the movie adaptation of Veronica Roth's book series. While changes are pretty much expected when books are translated into the big screen, Theo James revealed that there won't be any big changes in "Allegiant" as compared to the major changes seen in "Insurgent." Does this mean the ending of the franchise will be the same as the one in Roth's book?

"Divergent: Allegiant" will see the return of Theo James and Shailene Woodley as Tobias 'Four' Eaton and Beatrice 'Tris' Prior, respectively, as their characters move beyond the walls of Chicago in search for answers. The upcoming installment will be the first of the franchise's two-part finale, which is based on Veronica Roth's third book "Allegiant."

Fans of Roth's books noticed that there were key changes made in the first "Divergent" film, as well as in the sequel, "Insurgent," which left many fans wondering about the changes that will be made in the "Allegiant" movie. In an earlier interview with Collider, the 30-year-old actor admitted that there won't be any big changes in the upcoming movie.

"Not huge ones, no," said James. "We have time to tell the book over two movies so I think if anything, it'll be the material in the book but then added as well; there'll be more stuff because we have more time to tell the story."

This made many fans nervous, especially because the ending of the "Divergent" franchise in Roth's books saw Tris dead. Several fans have already started a petition, which aims to see Tris well and alive at the end of "The Divergent Series: Ascendant."

While Tris' fate in the movies remains to be seen in the upcoming sequels, Master Herald reported that while both Shailene Woodley and Theo James catapulted to fame following their appearance in "The Divergent Series," the two stars are looking into proving themselves beyond their roles in the franchise. James, however, expressed his interest in doing another movie with Woodley after they are done with the YA film.

"The Divergent Series: Allegiant" opens in theatres on March 18, 2016.
