David Foster spoke up to defend her ex-wife Yolanda Foster over earlier reports suggesting that the "Real Housewives" star is faking the severity of her Lyme disease.
Some reports have surfaced recently alleging that the reality star is faking her Lyme disease. This was also a central theme on the previous episode of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" season 6, Carter Matt noted.
Yet, while Yolanda and her former husband David are rumored to be going through an ugly divorce, the music producer seemed to be not apprehensive to take Yolanda's side. The 66-year-old Grammy winning producer has finally broken his silence and talked about his divorce and estranged wife, Us Weekly reported.
"I have always had and continue to have the utmost respect and love for Yolanda, which is why it is so frustrating to see headlines questioning her chronic debilitating illness," David shared. "I have been by Yolanda's side over the past four years to the best of my ability as she battled with the complexities of her Lyme diagnosis."
His statements seemed to contradict previous reports suggesting that he's going through an ugly divorce with the 51-year-old reality star. David said he is proud of how Yolanda has faced her Lyme disease since she was diagnosed in 2012.
The music producer continued to deny all the allegations thrown their way, calling the rumors being spread as baseless and inaccurate.
Celebrity couple divorces would often attract media's attention that reports would delve into the nature of the couple's relationship while still in marriage. Recently, the "Asia's Got Talent" judge was accused of being jealous with the fame Yolanda's daughters got out of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" while he lost so much during his stint in the reality series.
These rumors though were also slammed by Yolanda's camp, who defended David against the malicious reports that surfaced following their split. The couple announced that they are splitting on Dec. 1 after four years of marriage.
