DJI the creator of drones have made it easier for consumers to get a hand of their products by making personal drones that are affordable to own. Other industries followed suit. Drones have been created so people could use it is to take aerial shots as a video or photos. A few years ago, it was reported that some of these drones have been tried to use as part of a business plan: to use drones as a means for delivering mails and mail order products.

Recently, Bloomberg's reports that since its inception, DJI enjoyed a lion's share of sales coming from these drones. Their revenue reached to $130 million in the year 2013. They are aiming for a billion this year. As per Goldman Sachs, they say that the market for these drones can triple to $5 billion dollars by 2017.

The question is how longer they can stay ahead? DJI is now at a challenge of producing industrial and agricultural drones in order for them to stay ahead. Dan Kara, and ABI researcher asked, "If people had a drone, are they going to need a drone next year...?"  He means that the challenges these products are facing, is if they can compete with other technological products out there in the market.

Paul Pan, DJI senior product manager explained how they got started with their drones and the kind of technology that they used. Chin said that the small drone business manufacturers for these drone have been created in bigger amounts each year that even the regulator of these items couldn't even keep up.

Gerald Van Hoy of Gartner said that this small drone industry should be able to make drones that could pass the standard regulation. United States is the main market for these drone products and according to Chin's report. Final regulations for other drone manufacturers will be issued on the first half of 2016.
