It's winter and there have been several things that the real estate world was able to recognize some things that we can learn about the sector during the past week.

Lesson 1: Real estate transactions are a drag.

It has been noted that the reason why trying to get a home these days is because of the following:

                46% have financing issues

                21% have appraisal related issues

                14% due to hitches during home inspection

In order to prevent these issue, it is advisable that home buyers try to avoid buying things that will tarnish their credit score, like cars, or furniture, better hold it out until you get approved.

Lesson 2: Football players are also having a hard time moving out.

We may have heard of the San Diego Chargers and St. Louise Rams, moving to Los Angeles, and even though the fans may be excited about it, it's not so much fun to do. Player Matt Stoven, told ESPN that during the teams move in 1996, he was able to lose thousand from all the closing cost and realtor fees.  He is now arguing that the players be compensated for the inconveniences of moving from place to place.

Lesson 3: Flint, Michigan's water issue could happen to anyone else.

There is a study regarding the water quality in the United States done by the Natural Resources Defense Council that says, 19 cities have been found to have contaminated waters because of the out of date plumbing.

To worried citizens, it is advisable to have the water on where you live be tested to know if they are safe for drinking. As always it is better to be on the safe side than being sorry.

Lesson 4: Playgrounds are now inside the house.

With all the dangerous crimes happening everywhere, millennials now prefer getting a house that will have a playroom for the kids. Another good reason, for a real estate like this is that, with all the busy schedule of everyday life, who has the time to keep the lawns, especially when you have kids?

Lesson 5: Un-secure home security systems.

Reports have been going around that a study from Princeton University, found the there is a certain nest device that leaks zip codes online. Not only do suspects found out where you live but also what you are doing inside the house, making you an easy prey. Creepy!
