The University of Miami's Hurricanes might have gotten a new coach in the form of Mark Richt; however, the former longtime coach (a whopping 15 seasons after leaving in November 2015) of the Georgia Bulldogs is now looking to sell his Watkinsville, GA home, just near the Athens area.
Richt's former Georgia home, which has five bedrooms, six full bathrooms, and two half bathrooms spread throughout the 5,770 square-foot mansion on a 4-acre lot, is now looking to find a new owner who could shell out $800,000.
The home, found in 1151 Scotland Bnd, also boasts of intricate interior design details that make the home unique from the lot of contemporary designs nowadays. Realtor.com reports:
"The home, full of French Provincial touches, offers plenty of upside: The formal dining room has arched windows, crown molding, ornate wainscoting, and a hardwood floor. As it turns out, several UGA-related transactions have been giving the real estate market more homes to sell. According to SEC Country, the new Georgia Bulldogs coach, Kirby Smart, just put his five-bedroom Tuscaloosa, Alabama home on the market last week for $775,000.
