Many celebrities live in California, and Mandy Moore and Adele are no exception. Both found their dream home in California, and to Adele, that meant doing it twice.
Here's a sneak peek of their stunning homes.
Mandy Moore's Dream House
What's not to love about Mandy Moore's 1950s Pasadena home? The sweeping views of the San Gabriel mountains and valley alone make the $2.56 million price tag worth every penny.
The mid-century flat-roofed abode was designed by Harold Zook and boasts floor-to-ceiling windows that open to a number of patios and lush gardens. The three-bedroom, three-bathroom home also features a breakfast nook, a centerpiece fireplace, built-in wine storage, a family room, a swimming pool, and a spa.
This house atop the Pasadena hill, however, has undergone an ill-suited renovation in the early 1990s. So, shortly after purchasing the estate, Mandy Moore tapped architect Emily Farnham and interior designer, Sarah Sherman Samuel, to embark on an elaborate renovation project.
The aim was to somewhat "restore" the home the way it was imagined by Zook. That meant restoring and updating some of its original features such as the tiered cornice, blond brick walls, and the copper fireplace hood.

Adele's Elegant California Mansions
Adele's $9.5-million four-bed, six-bath sprawling mansion, another luxurious addition to her portfolio of properties, is situated in an exclusive community, Hidden Valley. Sitting on 17,000-sq ft land, the 6,597-sq ft property was built in 1977.
The home greets visitors via a large two-story foyer. Stepping inside, you'll find two living rooms and a formal dining room. Meanwhile, the four large bedrooms include a master suite with two grand closets plus a bonus room.
The kitchen with a white-beamed ceiling features a white island with a marble countertop. It connects to the large family room and the breakfast area and then opens out to an outdoor area. The backyard has a treehouse, an outdoor train set, a private garden, a pool, and a spa.
In 2019, Adele snatched up a second Beverly Hills property. She reportedly paid $10.65 million for the five-bedroom, six-bathroom estate. The 6,045-sq ft property sits on a 0.93-acre land, also in the gated Hidden Valley neighborhood.
The home was built in 1961 and has gone through expansion and renovation over the past years. The master suite features a fireplace with a private balcony, along with an ensuite bathroom plus a jacuzzi tub and walk-in closet.
The kitchen boasts of marble countertops and island, wood cabinetry, and stainless steel appliances. There is also a grand library with floor-to-ceiling bookshelves that can hold up to 2,000 volumes. Other features of this dream house include an art studio, fitness suite, home office, fireplace, a landscaped backyard, and a swimming pool.
