Celebrities Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi have recently purchased a $49 million 4-acre property that is located in Montecito Estate. The said couple purchased the said property via an off-market deal from a Saturday Night Live (SNL) member and alum, Dennis Miller.
The Four-Acre $49 Million Property Recently Purchased Last September By Both Celebrities
According to Architectural Digest, the famous celebrity couple has purchased the property in question just last September of this year. It is located in Montecito, California, and is made up of multiple structures within the property's land area. Additionally, it consists of three parcels of land, which results in the total size of the property is four acres.
It was purchased at an off-market deal from the known comedian of Saturday Night Live (SNL) and political pundit Dennis Miller and his wife, Carolyn Espley-Miller. They have purchased the property way back in 2006 and wasn't publicly listed during its sale period. Sadly, the previous owners have declined an interview about the sale of their previous home to the media and press.
Do take note that this information was known to many after the celebrity couple has previously purchased a 9.3-acre compound property within the same Montecito location. This was possible thanks to the couple's late purchase of a celebrity real estate in Salt Hill Estate. Aside from that, a small neighboring home was also purchased, wherein both were sold in 2018 for $33.3 million.
It was then presumably used to buy the said 9.3-acre compound property afterward. However, the 9.3-acre property was also eventually sold after listing it a month ago in various real estate markets. It is noted that before buying the four-acre property that the couple is currently living in their Beverly Hills mansion that was previously owned by the lead singer and occasional rhythm guitarist of the famous band Maroon 5, Adam Levine. The said celebrities purchased it from him in 2019.
