The New York home of Ryan Seacrest, the Beverly Hills home property he purchased from Ellen DeGeneres a few years back, has sold for $85 million last November. There is a huge reason why the said celebrity has sold his property in the selling market for celebrity homes.
Ryan Seacrest's New York Property Has Been Sold For A Huge Amount
The said celebrity has pocketed a hefty amount of cash, thanks to that specific sale. According to TMZ, the total amount of the New York celebrity home sold was $85 million dollars. Seeing that the said celebrity has purchased it from Ellen DeGeneres for $39 million back in 2012, he had earned around $44 million from it. This isn't a bad deal, considering it was sold during the ongoing pandemic no less. Do take note that he spend a separate $2 million dollars on an adjacent property near it though, if you are wondering about that missing amount from the table.
The said home property is one of the famous celebrity homes in the market today. The history of the said property started with Max Mutchnick, the creator of the hit TV show "Will & Grace". Then, Max eventually listed up the property for sale in the market, wherein it was eventually purchased by Ellen DeGeneres sometime later. After that, during 2012, Ellen listed the said property for sale and this is where Ryan purchased it from her.
Once that the news that Ryan has purchased the said New York property, the first owner Max have contacted him and offered to redesign/renovate the property the way he wanted it to be before. The two have agreed on this and Max handled the redesigning/renovating of the celebrity home.
The said property consists of five (5) structures after the redesign/renovation, wherein those structures are separated by gardens and water features. It is sized at 9,000-square feet and the property consists of the following:
- 4 bedrooms.
- 6 bathrooms.
- Gourmet's chef kitchen with an outdoor pizza oven.
- A 22-foot ceiling in the living room.
- Its own movie theater.
- Its own spa.
- A world-class gym.
- A master suite with its own meditation garden.
- A bar/lounge combination room.

Aside from Seacrest's property, there are other celebrity homes that are also being sold in other popular places. According to The Real Deal, thanks to the sale of other popular celebrity homes in different locations, that had a domino effect in properties located in Los Angeles. Those said properties are of those of other celebrities who have gained positive effects in selling their homes.
The said positive results of many celebrity properties located in Los Angeles is that most have experienced positive sales, starting from the summer season. This is especially true for high-end properties that most celebrities owned in that location. This is despite having low inventories of available properties in that area, which is somewhat astonishing to some, especially experts in the said housing market.
