For the second week of January 2021 alone, at least 218 market-rate apartments 117 condominium sale were recorded through Manhattan. Below are the top apartment sales in Manhattan for the first quarter of the year.
Delos Residences
The 7,693-square-foot penthouse at Delos Residences in Greenwich Village took the top spot after being sold at $14 million. The apartment boasts a health-conscious feature such as circadian lighting, anti-microbial coatings on doors and countertops, and showers with vitamin C filters.
This Manhattan apartment features four bedrooms complete with an en suite bathroom, two spacious living rooms, an open kitchen, rooftop with solarium and swimming pool provision.

Thanks to Kim Kardashian, the number of interested buyers for Manhanttan apartments increased as she once toured the said triplex penthouse. While the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star did not end up buying the Delos Residences top sale, the New York Post reported that the property fell at the hands of Michael and Elin Nierenberg.
The report states that the couple secured a good deal for paying only $14 million as the property was initially listed for a whopping $50 million in 2013.
The six-residence building has always been a hot spot in Manhattan as it was marketed as a "wellness sanctuary" with its health-conscious features and amenities.

Meanwhile, one of the top apartment contracts for the first quarter of 2021 is the former home of Sidney Kimmel in Central Park South. Kimmel is a film producer of top-billed movies, including "Crazy Rich Asian," "Moneyball," and "Death at a Funeral." He is also a known fashion magnate and philanthropist.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Kimmel and his wife decided to sell the New York apartment to live in Beverly Hills. As of writing, Kimmel's luxury unit's contract has an asking price of $24.5 million.
