According to Captial FM, the said former member of a famous boy band and now singer/songwriter have been struggling to sell his (now former) Los Angeles mansion property since 2018. Originally, the asking price for the said property was $14 million.
However, due to it not being sold during that time, he was forced to reduce the price to $13 million. Eventually, he was forced to cut it down again to the final amount of $10.5 million, most probably due to the current pandemic going on globally.
Payne had originally purchased the property way back in 2015, he was originally living in the property with his former partner Cheryl. This was also the time where she was pregnant with their first child, their son named Bear.
Now, seeing an opportunity for getting the said property at a cheaper price, Halsey comes into the picture and offered Payne the said amount of $10.5 million to purchase it.
