Bernard Arnault, the second richest person in the world and owner of luxury brand LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton, lives in an expansive estate in Paris believed to be worth $200 million.
Arnault, whose net worth sits at $196.3 billion, owns a sprawling mansion built on 12 acres of land and surrounded by vineyards on the left bank of Paris' Seine River. The mansion itself spans over 7,000 square feet and includes 12 bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, and a large swimming pool.
A Look Inside Bernard Arnault's Mansion
Arnault's home along the Seine is one of the most well-known mansions in Paris and has been featured in numerous magazines and TV shows. The veritable estate includes a private lake, tennis court, and an underground parking space. Additionally, the estate has expansive gardens and an Olympic-sized swimming pool with a submarine sitting at one end.
Despite sitting on an already impressive land, the mansion also has many unique features. Its exterior, for instance, is made of limestone and features a bronze door flanked by two lion sculptures, according to MagicBricks.
The mansion is also equipped with luxurious furnishings and plenty of artwork. A grand piano and a marble fireplace adorn the mansion's living room, while a 24-person dining table can be found in the dining room.
Some of the mansion's unique features include a ballroom for events and parties, a wine cellar, a grand staircase, and a library.
It is believed that Arnault spent over a decade to complete all the renovations in his Paris mansion. However, more renovations may soon be underway to construct a new wing for the house and upgrade the mansion's existing structure. The outlet noted that the renovations may cost $50 million.
Arnault's Other Properties
Apart from his mansion in Paris, Arnault owns several other properties in France, California, and the Bahamas. One of the most recent additions to his real estate portfolio was an $84.5 million property in Los Angeles, which he bought in late 2021.
In addition to his sprawling mansions, the billionaire also owns the 133-acre Indigo Island in the Bahamas that he bought for $35 million, per Square Yards. The island is only accessible to guests who receive a private invitation.
