Hollywood A-listers Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas have listed their 12-acre pre-war estate in Westchester County for $12 million.

The famous couple, who have been married for more than two decades, keep their real estate portfolios separate. The mansion was bought by Zeta-Jones in 2019 for $4.5 million. In a statement to the Wall Street Journal, the actress said the decision to list the property came after she and her husband became empty-nesters.

"When I purchased our Irvington home, I knew our family would share many happy times here, and we have!" Zeta-Jones told the outlet. "Now that both our son and daughter have left the nest, it seems like the right time to sell."

Inside Zeta-Jones' Westchester Mansion

Located along the Irvington, the estate features a Colonial Revival mansion built in the 1920s. The main residence spans 11,653 square feet and features four levels with eight ensuite bedrooms and 12 bathrooms. The mansion's interior has undergone extensive renovations after it fell into the couple's ownership and now reflects a blend of the original architectural elements with a contemporary aesthetic.

One of the mansion's standout features is its family room, which houses a fireplace and offers stunning views of the river. The family room leads to a double-height library with floor-to-ceiling shelves and a spiral staircase, per Architectural Digest.

Other notable features include French doors leading to a 100-foot outdoor terrace, an indoor entertainment center, a 21-foot heated pool, a gym, playrooms, a kitchenette, massive arched windows, and 130 feet of manicured lawn with a stone patio.

Prior to Zeta-Jones, the estate was once owned by Charles Lewis Tiffany, founder of famed jewelry company Tiffany & Co. It also became the site of several star-studded soirees, including a recent campaign bash for President Joe Biden.

The Couple's Other Real Estate Properties

Zeta-Jones and Douglas have flipped several properties over the years. In 2014, Zeta-Jones bought a 13.28-acre, eight-bedroom home in Bedford Corners for $11.25 million. She sold it for $20.5 million in 2019 in an off-market deal.

Douglas, meanwhile, sold their Central Park West four-bedroom co-op for $21.5 million in 2021.
