Arnold Schwarzenegger Shares Info On His Upcoming Movie “Legend Of Conan”

Arnold Schwarzenegger was promoting his Terminator: Genisys movie but was asked about his role on his upcoming revival movie of "Conan the Barbarian". He obliged and disclosed tidbits of information.

According to Slash Film, there were leaks about the Conan sequel since 2012. It however took some time before it actually made the jump. Arnold told the press that the script needed some "tweakage" but at the same time acknowledged that the most recent draft has been written by Andrea Berloff and Producer Fredrik Malmberg. According to Schwarzenegger, the scriptwriter and his producer have done an extraordinary job. He also said that he is looking forward to working with them as soon as the promotion of the latest Terminator movie is done.

Andrew Whalen of iDigital Times reported via Nerd Report that Arnold Schwarzenegger had been hoping to do the sequel of Conan. According to him, he found the story appealing because of how it unfolds. The "Legend of Conan", the working title of the sequel, starts where he left off in part 1 where he would be asked to get back into battle again due to "some hideous and unbelievable things".

Contrary to what people might think in expecting a younger Schwarzenegger, Up Roxx shared how Chris Morgan, the screenwriter, wants the character to be portrayed. Age will actually become a factor for the Conan in this new movie where forcing oneself to become a hero but shows a little bit of slowing down creating a cloud of self doubt. The utmost challenge would be to conquer the doubts in his mind and physical limits as age catches up rather than the armies he would be facing.

To fill in the new generation about Arnold Schwarzenegger, prior to his famous role as the "Terminator," he was acknowledged in his role in "Conan the Barbarian" in the early 80's. It is where he got into the limelight.
