"Criminal Minds" is only months away from its Season 11 premiere on CBS and Thomas Gibson and the rest of the cast are back to work, as they do their first table read for the upcoming season.

"Criminal Minds" Season 11 may have one of the shortest episode orders in the history of the CBS police procedural drama, but it sure is packing up with more interesting and exciting crimes for the team to solve.
While news about the upcoming season of the CBS crime drama may have fall short in the past few weeks, Carter Matt cited that Thomas Gibson and the rest of the cast will be doing their first table read for Season 11 this week.
The upcoming season of "Criminal Minds" will be returning this September with the addition of a new cast member, Aisha Tyler, IB Times reported. Tyler will be playing the role of Dr. Tara Lewis following the departure of Jennifer Love Hewitt (Kate Callahan) in Season 10.
"Criminal Minds" Season 11 premiere will reportedly show Aaron Hotchner (Thomas Gibson) interviewing candidates to fill in the role of Kate. Aaron will finally come down to one candidate to join the Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) - Dr. Lewis, "a psychologist with an eye for forensic psychology and its application toward the criminal justice system."
AJ Cook, who plays the role of Jennifer Jareau, will also be missing during the first five episodes of the series, as the actress is currently on maternity leave.
Showrunner Erica Messer said that the show and the cast will always have its doors open should Hewitt express interest in reprising her role in the series. Hewitt decided to drop out of the project in order to spend time with her family.
"Criminal Minds" Season 11 premieres on Wednesday, Sept. 30 on CBS.
