"Pretty Little Liars" Season 6 has long promised fans to give a "Summer of Answers," as the most-awaited big 'A' reveal will finally take place in the midseason finale of the ABC Family series. With PLL finally coming to a close on the mystery behind A or Charles DiLaurentis, will Aria, Hanna, Emily and Spencer meet a new enemy along the way?
Warning: Spoilers ahead! Read on if you want to learn more about the details of this story.
"Pretty Little Liars" Season 6 is giving answers with each and every episode; however, such answers only lead to more questions. While Mr. DiLaurentis recently shared details about Charles, there still lies the question about the true identity of A and his motive for playing tricks with the Liars.
Mr. DiLaurentis admitted that Charles is NOT Jason's twin (dismissing previous PLL theories), but he is his older brother who was committed to Radley at an early age because of an attempt to drown Ali, Popsugar cited. Mr. DiLaurentis also revealed that Charles killed himself with pills, which leads other fans to believe that Charles is not A.
In a recent interview with I. Marlene King, however, the showrunner insisted that Charles is A. With the midseason finale quickly approaching, Charles' tricks and games will obviously come to an end as the summer finale episode title "Game Over, Charles" suggests that the Liars will finally put an end to all these games.
This leaves fans wondering if there will be a new enemy come the second half of PLL Season 6, She Knows reported.
In an interview with the showrunner, King did not confirm or deny speculations that a new protagonist is headed towards the girls' way. The showrunner, however, revealed that Aria, Hanna, Emily, and Spencer will be "getting to be more grown-up, and getting to make more grown-up mistakes, and grown-up decisions."
