"Rizzoli and Isles" Season 6 is known for its interesting take on the police procedural drama thanks to the characters portrayed by Angie Harmon as Detective Jane Rizzoli and Sasha Alexander as Dr. Maura Isles. While these two characters are at the front of the TNT series, the presence of other characters like Korsack, Susie, and Frankie also add to the value of the series. How will Susie's sudden departure affect the entire team?

"Rizzoli & Isles" executive producer Jan Nash previously told TVGuide.com that during the midseason finale, someone from the team will be in a sticky situation. The outlet noted that this could be another cliffhanger; much like the show did during last year's midseason finale, which showed Jane jumping off a bridge to save a suspect.

"It's an idea we had last year where somebody from the team is in deadly peril and we'll come back and see how we save them," the showrunner teased.

Nash also revealed that not only will the team find one of their members in such a life-threatening situation, but they will also find themselves caught in a big controversy.

While it is already known that Susie and Maura are the ones being pinpointed in this blind item, it still leaves many fans wondering how the team will cope up with the loss in the upcoming episode.

Carter Matt noted that in "Rizzoli & Isles" Season 6 Episode 6 titled, "Face Value," the show will offer more explanations and details on how Susie's death occurred.

The official synopsis for the upcoming episode also reveals that Jane and Maura will be blindly taking on a murder case, whose witness "suffers from facial-recognition blindness."
