"Dance Moms" Season 5 has recently aired its first special episode on Lifetime. The "Dance Moms" specials premiered with a behind-the-scenes interview with one of its lead stars, Maddie Ziegler.
Ziegler, who has appeared in Sia's music videos for "Chandelier," "Elastic Heart" and "Big Girls Cry," recounted her journey in the Lifetime reality series, including her relationship with her co-stars.
The 12-year-old dancer admitted that she and Chloe Lukasiak are no longer as close as they used to be after Lukasiak decided to part ways from "Dance Moms" in Season 4, IB Times reported.
"We haven't really talked to each other and things have changed between us. It's really sad because I obviously miss her," she said.
Ziegler also seemingly blamed her ALDC coach, Abby Lee Miller in instigating rivalry between her and Lukasiak.
"I think that everyone was so obsessed with the Maddie vs. Chloe thing because Abby... showed most of her attention to us two."
Meanwhile, Ziegler's return in "Dance Moms" Season 6 remains uncertain. Ziegler previously admitted that she still has doubts over returning for another season and would like to do more acting roles in the future, which sparked rumors that the reality star will soon be leaving the show, Enstarz noted.
Ziegler has also recently expressed her excitement over the launching of her own collection as the new face of Capezio's Betsey Johnson line.
"I don't always get to wear fashion, because I'm always in gym clothes, so when get to try really cute things, I take advantage and go all out."
