"Dance Moms" will be back with new episodes, drama and competition in Season 6 after executive producer Bryan Stinson confirmed the show's return on Lifetime. While the show's cast for the upcoming season remains unknown, former reality star Chloe Lukasiak seemingly dissed ALDC coach Abby Lee Miller in an interview and admitted that Maddie Ziegler was her biggest rival.
"Dance Moms" Season 5 recently concluded with an emotional episode after the girls performed at Nationals. Casting call for Season 6 is already underway after executive producer Bryan Stinson posted the details on his Twitter account, including the announcement that Abby Lee Miller will continue to guide and direct the kids on the show.
While Miller's return in Season 6 is almost confirmed, 12-year-old Maddie Ziegler's isn't. This makes many fans wonder if Ziegler will be following the footsteps of Chloe Lukasiak, who used to be one of her best friends on the show, but suddenly left the show after Season 4.
Lukasiak recently opened up to OK! Magazine about her decision to leave "Dance Moms" and how she felt after learning that she will be competing with Ziegler at the Teen Choice Awards.
"It's not really different than anything else. I've always competed against her my whole life. She was probably my biggest rival in the competition world," Lukasiak said.
The 14-year-old dancer also admitted that she had the best time on the show even though their coach, Abby Lee Miller, always favored Ziegler over her. In a separate report from OK!, however, Lukasiak seemingly dissed Miller, who has been known for bossing around the kids on the show with her crazy antics.
Lukasiak compared her new studio, Studio 19, to the one led by Miller and said that everyone seems nice "even when they give corrections and critiques." Lukasiak also recounted that one of her dance coaches acted like cupid and introduced Lukasiak to her boyfriend, Ricky Garcia.
