"Divergent: Allegiant - Part One" is already done filming scenes for the third and final installment of the movie adaptation of Veronica Roth's series. While the first part is still months away from hitting the big screens, Theo James and Shailene Woodley opened up about their thoughts of working together and how they view their own characters.
"Divergent: Allegiant" will see the return of Theo James as Tobias 'Four' Eaton and Shailene Woodley as Beatrice 'Tris' Prior. While the upcoming sequel to "Insurgent" will be divided into two parts, filming has officially ended for the first half. Fashion & Style reported that Ansel Elgort, who plays the role of Tris' brother Caleb, announced the news on Instagram.
Elgort shared a couple of snap shots, including a photo with James. Elgort wrote: "IT'S A META'FOUR. #Allegiant we are WRAPPED! I know we'd all rather see theo shirtless I'm sorry." Several photos from the "Allegiant" Wrap Party were also posted on Twitter, which featured Woodley posing for the cameras.
While it is a known fact that Shailene Woodley and Theo James have their own respective partners in real life, fans are still hoping for romance brewing between the two stars. Their relationship on screen for "Divergent" and behind the scenes definitely exemplifies great chemistry, which is also the reason for the countless rumors surrounding the two.
What Do Theo James and Shailene Woodley Really Think About Each Other?
In an interview with InStyle, the 23-year-old actress admitted that it's fun working alongside James, especially because the latter can crack up a joke at anytime.
"Having him by my side felt really reassuring and comfortable. I feel protected by him in a really great way," Woodley said.
"The Fault in Our Stars" actress also compared her character, Tris, to Jennifer Lawrence's role in "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay," Katniss Everdeen. Woodley said that Tris and Katniss are the same in such a way that they're both strong, but they aren't "bad ass by nature."
The 30-year-old actor, on the other hand, thought of Woodley as "a much better person" than he was.
"She can keep two feet on the ground but still be able to achieve everything she wants to achieve," James said.
"Divergent: Allegiant - Part 1" premieres on March 18, 2016.
