For those that have an affinity for Mortal Kombat X, the wait is no more. Ed Boon, the co-creator of the fighting video game, recently announced that there will be a release update on the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game, as reported previously by christianpost.com.
Although the exact details of the release were not mentioned, fans and the gaming world are already buzzing with excitement. How did the excitement begin? It started with a Tweet. According to a recent report by the christianpost.com, "The hype all started when Boon posted on his Twitter account, a black and white photo of the "Mortal Kombat X" characters namely Tremor, Tanya, Predator and Jason Voorhees."
Due to the teasing tweets made by Ed Boon, the fans have been creating notions for upcoming DLCs for 'Mortal Kombat X.' According to a previous report by crossmap.com, "The notions are not baseless since Ed Boon has been hinting these DLCs on his Twitter account as well." The extra rumored character add-ons are Bo' Rai Cho, Fujin, Kabal and most fascinatingly, Spawn. As for the appearance of Spawn, there is evidence for that as crossmap.com reports that Spawn will appear since the NetherRealm Studios acquired permission from Tom McFarlane of Image Comics to include Spawn in "Mortal Kombat X DLC."
Is the long wait finally coming to an end? It seems like it, since even the great Ed Boon instigated the idea. As the fans await further declarations, the fans can momentarily amuse themselves with the video that was uploaded on YouTube by user Dynasty.
The video revealed the unmasked face of some of the "Mortal Kombat X" characters, both playable and unplayable. Also included in the list of playable characters with unmasked faces are Ferra Torr, Erron Black, Jason Voorhees and Revenant Sub-Zero, as stated in a report by christianpost.com.
