Netflix recently eased the worry of fans and viewers of "Sense8," as the online streaming giant announced the renewal of the sci-fi drama for Season 2. While details about the upcoming season of the series has not yet been revealed, series creator J. Michael Straczynski was gracious enough to share some interesting details about what's next for the show.
In an interview with AssignmentX, Straczynski recounted details from the first time he and Andy and Lana Wachowski decided to create the series all the way to spoilers for the upcoming season. Straczynski admitted that they were all debating on the number of people within a cluster until Lana appeared the next day with the words "Sense8" written on her notebook.
Straczynski also admitted that his bad relationship with his father might have served as an inspiration in writing the series and likened himself to Max Reimelt's character, Wolfgang. In terms of Season 2, Straczynski hinted that other clusters will be introduced and further noted that not all of them will be good people.
"So not all Sense8s will be naturally good people. Some people with that ability might not be the best people. So there's a whole range of them," he said.
Meanwhile, Indiewire listed out some of the highlights from the show's 25-minute documentary, which showed the struggles of filming in several locations. The clip also revealed that scenes in "Sense8" from each country were shot all at once before proceeding to the next location.
