Elvis Presley's former Beverly Hills mansion has hit the market for $12.995 million. The Trousdale property was one he shared with his wife, Priscilla and daughter Lisa Marie in 1960.
According to Zillow, the singer bought the home at 1174 N Hillcrest Rd, Beverly Hills, CA for $400,000 in 1967. This was the same year Presley married Priscilla.
Zillow also reported that the famous house is a 1.18-acre with panoramic city and ocean views. The developer, Paul Trousdale had an eye for the significant homes designed by L.A.'s famous designers including Wallace Neff, Paul R. Williams, A. Quincy Jones, Frank Lloyd Wright and Harold Levitt, in the 1950's.
Trousdale is a location where most of its homes attract celebrities. Elvis was neighbors with Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Tony Curtis and Ray Charles. And now, celebrities like Jennifer Aniston, David Spade and designer Vera Wang own homes in the area.
Presley's home was newly remodeled, but the private home is still in its original states. The French-styled home was listed as a rental for $25,000 a month. It has 4 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms and spans on 5,367 square-feet acre, Zillow confirmed.
Other features also include floor-to-ceiling windows, and walls of glass in every room. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor space.
The home his listed by real estate agent, Jade Mills of Coldwell Banker.
