'Netflix' Loses a Bunch Of Movies-- All Is According To Plan! Is Apple a New Competitor?

Netflix is losing a whole bunch of movies but everything is according to its company plan. On the other hand, Apple is now a new competitor of Netflix as it will start making new TV program.

Report has it that Netflix has done a lot of explaining as it announced on Sunday that the company is letting go of its contract with Epix cable network. Vox reports that a press release "Why You'll See Some High Profile Movies Leave Netflix US Next Month," might make its subscribers go on panic. No one wants to get crappy movies, and the reason why there are those who are subscribing for a premium cable or television is because they want good content if not great.

Now that Netflix has gambled on releasing Epix and would lose a whole bunch of movies like "The Hunger Games franchise", "World War Z", and "Transformers: Age of Extinction," subscribers are already frustrated about it. Providing blockbuster hits is what makes Netflix special, and losing those movies in its catalog is not what its subscribers signed up for.

But the company has made its plan known, that it is working on new original series and movies. There is a reason why the "American provider of on-demand Internet streaming media" has let it contract lapse with Epix. The company has shifted its focus, instead "it now puts less stock in quantity and more into creating its own distinct brand," all according to plan.

This is not the first time that the company has let a contract lapse. If remembered, in 2012 Starz had separated its ways with the company. Yet, Netflix has made a deal with Disney Studio. "The kind of exclusivity the Disney deal affords is exactly the kind of step Netflix wants to be taking in its new quest for more curated programming - and exactly why it likely isn't sweating letting its Epix deal lapse."

On different note, the online streaming company will now have a new competitor. In the streaming business, the number one competition would eventually be Neflix Vs Apple. Independent EI states that Apple is about to start making TV programs. The iPhone maker company plans to provide the online streaming service on 2016, and it already has a preliminary talks with Hollywood executives. This report has been released by Variety. In the report, it says that the goal of Apple company is to "to create development and production divisions that would churn out long-form content for online streaming."

As of press time, Apple has not made any official comment regarding this news.
