‘Matt Damon’ Discloses Details of ‘Bourne 5’ while 'The Martian’ Movie Faces Tough Competition

Matt Damon has a lot of things on his hands. While he may be busy promoting his new movie "The Martian," he also cant help but disclose some details about his upcoming movie "Bourne 5."

In the latest article of Empire Online, it reports that Matt Damon has revealed the plot and location details of his new movie of "The Bourne Identity" franchise. Well, it is not a tell-all revelation but just enough for fans to get excited. Damon's comeback to Robert Ludlum's movie adaptation of the "Bourne" series has been much awaited by fans.

Matt Damon has done three films with the "Bourne" series; after the 3rd installment, he didnt return for its 4th sequel as the story focus on Aaron Cross, played by Jeremy Renner. Now that Damon is reprising his role as Jason Bourne, the avid followers would now know what happened to the central character of Robert Ludlum's famous novels.

iDigital Times says that the fifth installment of Bourne series is still kept under wraps; however, Damon has already revealed the plot and the location of its production. According to Matt in his interview with Buzzfeed, the fans would expect that the fifth sequel is already in a post-Snowden world, as he thinks that it has a big influence of the upcoming installment. He has also mentioned that the storyline has something to do with austerity-riddled Europe in addition to all "kinds of arguments about spying and civil liberties and the nature of democracy."

The "Jason Bourne" character has also disclosed to Buzzfeed that there location will start in Greece but eventually they would land in Las Vegas. Though, Matt has trailed away laughing after disclosing the location.

Slash Film has also mentioned that the filing of the sequel of Jason Bourne series will begin next week. Damon together with Julia Stiles will be reunited again with director Paul Greengrass who helmed "Bourne Supremacy" and "Born Ultimatum." The new addition to the cast members is Tommy Lee Jones.

Meanwhile, Matt Damon is continuously promoting his new movie "The Martian." According to the recent news from BGR, "The Martian" will be facing a tough competition at the box office when it will be released this fall. This sci-fi film is said to be an exciting movie for 2015 as its plot focuses on the astronaut gets stranded on Mars.

While Jason Bourne hits the big screen on July 15, 2016, fans could in the meantime watch "The Martian" on October 2, 2015.
