‘Batman vs. Superman Rumors’: Actor Michael Shannon Addresses General Zod and Doomsday Speculations

It appears that "Batman V Superman" is gathering Zod rumors that even led to the point that Michael Shannon addresses the rumors himself. What are the rumors that created such a fuss?

It hasn't been released yet but the upcoming "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" is creating a fuss in the movie world. Screenrant noted the recent statements from the man who played General Zod in "Man of Steel", and his appearance in "Batman V Superman's San Diego Comic Con" trailer sparked fan interest in the true fate of Zod. It seems that the man himself, Michael Shannon, is putting an end to all of the rumors circulating in the online world. The rumors that were revolving concerns him the most. It was previously rumored that Michael Shannon will be appearing in the show and then later on, it was stated that he wasn't. This led to even more confusion.

It all started when Shannon talked about "Doomsday" while playfully talked about the whole episode before and added that he would love to work with Zack Snyder once more. The next part completely appears like somewhat that was fed to him by the studio's PR team. Ibtimes further noted that to make sure no spoilers are leaked, however Shannon seems to be a man on a mission when he then reveals that he went over and did some voice-over stuff."

It is not helpful at all for the fans to be thrown different scenarios and speculated rumors but it appears that is the current status that links the upcoming "Batman V Superman" movie. The movie will feature a new perspective regarding the origins of Batman and Superman and how the two met crossed paths. As for the followers and loyal fans, it might be awhile before all the confusion is cleared up since the "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is scheduled for release on the 25th of March 2016.
