‘One-Punch Man’ Anime Updates: 3rd Video Reveals New Cast; 1st Episode Comes Out Before Official Premiere

As the aficionados of the manga are patiently waiting of the updates of the anime adaptation, news about this new piece of animation from Bandai Visual has finally come out. The Fandom Post says that "One-Punch Man" Anime series will finally premiere this fall. And, It will be streaming via Viz Media and Daisuki.

In addition, the website fill the hungry fans details of the of the new casting. The roster has been updated lining up additional names of: Daisuke Namikawa as Pig God, Kenjiro Tsuda as Atomic Samurai, Kousuke Toriumi as Flashy Flash, Masaya Onosaka as Puri-puri Prisoner, Minami Takayama as Child Emperor, Satoshi Hino as Superalloy Blackluster, Tesshô Genda as Metal Knight , Wataru Hatano as Metal Bat, Youji Ueda as Drive Knight, and Yuji Ueda as Watchdog Man.

While others are happy seeing the 3rd promotional video, others are feasting online the first episode that can be streamed by fans. KPopStarz says that the "networks and TV show creators have taken the route of debuting the first episode of a series online before the official premiere." Somehow, this move has build the hype of the fans who could no longer wait on its official run.

According to the report, the first episode has been livestreamed in Japan. The said episode can now be viewed with its English subtitles. But not everyone has taken a bite of the "unofficial" online streaming debut. In fact, some fans do not approve it, and are being critical with the fan subs including the video quality which is obviously not enhanced for the TV screen. This has been an open discussion on Reddit. "It's better to wait for the official TV release with better quality before showing it to a person who hasn't heard of the show before," Heatstrike Redditor commented.

The manga has been a massive success, so that explains why it is getting an anime adaptation. It is an action-comedy anime series that revolves mainly on the life of this young man named Saitama who is out to look for an opponent who could match his skills.

Perhaps, it is safe to say that he is actually bored by his ordinary life, that he is actually looking for trouble, or challenging opponents by simply screaming "Average" with a "lifeless expression, to his bald head, to his unimpressive physique." The thing is whenever he "finds a promising candidate he beats the snot out of them in one punch."
