Tech Times has a scoop about the recent news of "Attack on Titan." In its report, it says that Kawakubo Shintaro, editor of the manga, has revealed in his recent interview via Crunchy roll, that "AoT" has 3 more years to go before the creators would reach the final stage of the story.
From the time that it has debuted as a manga in 2009, "Attack on Titan" has become a phenomenal hit worldwide, giving rise to a popular anime, spin-off series, video games including the very recent live-action movies that come in two parts.
The "AoT" aficionados even new readers who are newly hooked to any if not all of its franchise expect that its popularity would last to its very end. From the revelation of Shintaro, fans will still enjoy the intense battle between humans and the man-eating giants. Nerdist states that 60% of the story of the manga has been narrated and published already, which means the remaining 40% will be spread for the next 3 years.
As for the anime, the season 1 has just debuted in 2013. Its great success has paved the way for the live-action films. However, fans are still patiently waiting of the announcement of season 2, which everyone thought would be released in 2016.
