"Divergent: Allegiant" is hitting the theaters this coming 2016, where the author of the novel which the movie was based on, Veronica Roth, claimed that there will be major changes to the screen. Since a recent report indicated that Shailene Woodley and Theo James may have a rocky relationship on screen due to the latter's jealous girlfriend, what makes of the lead roles of the franchise?
As reported by Master Herald, Theo James and Shailene Woodley have a solid fan base who repeatedly claimed that both actors would look absolutely perfect for each other if they were to date in real life. These allegations have reportedly stirred up jealousy rumors about James' girlfriend.
When asked about their roles in the movie, James indicated that he and Woodley have gotten along quite well, especially during intimate scenes. At first, he claimed that their kiss on screen felt awkward and that Woodley "went hard" on the scene. Later on, he found that he was actually getting comfortable as well and that they managed to overcome being awkwardly romantic on screen. Plus, they even enjoyed the situation quite a bit in the end.
James also hinted that his role in the movie and his partnership with Woodley have greatly affected even his real life. According to the source, this may indicate that his girlfriend has a sour attitude about Woodley because of their strong love team on screen. Although both parties have not confirmed his girlfriend's distaste regarding the pair up, the source indicated that it would come as no surprise, especially when fans believe in it strongly enough to suggest that they should be dating in real life.
In other news, E! Online reported that the new franchise of the "Divergent" series would be named differently than the books. In fact, two of the upcoming movies released new logos last Thursday. That of "The Divergent Series: Allegiant" read, "Break the bounderies of your world." While the renamed "The Divergent Series: Ascendant" had its own headline that read, "The end is never what you expect."
As author of the book series, Veronica Roth, was asked about the headline of the second part of "Allegiant"-based movie, she indicated, "What does this mean? Well, basically, it means there are going to be some changes, but it's really too early to know exactly what those changes will be or the extent of them. I know changes always makes fans of the books - and the author! - nervous, but hopefully the characters we know (and love. Or sometimes hate? Will still be intact, which is really the important thing."
She then added, "I am eager to see how these movies turn out, along with you guys."
Since the author herself has indicated that there will be changes to the movies and was hoping that the characters remained true to their beings, does this mean that the lead actors Theo James and Shailene Woodley might be interchanged since the former's girlfriend have been reportedly uncomfortable about their pair on screen?
Catch "The Divergent Series: Allegiant" this coming March 18, 2016 and see for yourself whether their on-screen romance will remain intact despite the jealous girlfriend issue.
