'Harry Potter' Franchise ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’ Cast Updates: Hollywood Bad Boy Colin Farrell is Set To Join The Cast

"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" is hitting the theaters soon and True Detective's Colin Farrell is set to join the cast. The "Harry Potter" spinoff will star Farrell, who will play the wizard Graves-- a supporting role for the lead character Newt Scamander in the story. J.K. Rowling's wizarding world is definitely going to hit the screens yet again.

According to Time, "Harry Potter" fans will be astonished of the new addition to the wizarding world. "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them", another book written by the J.K. Rowling, is eyeing on celebrities to be cast in the movie. Apparently, the lead character for the 'Harry Potter' spinoff will be Newt Scamander. However, Collin Farrell, the bad boy of Hollywood, will be joining the cast as the wizard Graves.

Unlike the Harry Potter series, Farrell's role is set at another place. He will be seen meeting up with Scamander in a totally different wizarding world which is New York City. Those who have read the book would say that there are slightly few changes as to how the film will be depicted on screen as the meet-up in New York by the characters was only supposed to be for a few hours. Knowing that, we sure are going to find new twists and turns to the already alluring world of "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them".

According to Comic Book, the story of "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" will show Scamander venturing throughout the wizarding world, not just in Hogwarts like the "Harry Potter" franchise. His journey is aimed at collecting and pursuing several documents regarding magical creatures in the hopes of consolidating all of them in a text book. If you haven't figured it out yet, that same book is the literary work used in the "Harry Potter" school of Hogwarts.

The "True Detective" actor's co-stars comprises of Dan Fogler, Katherine Waterston and Ezra Miller. The production will also be directed by David Yates, the one responsible for creating the last four installments of the previous "Harry Potter" films. Truly, we are going to see the wizarding world as familiar as it was during the "Harry Potter" times.
